Talking to my team is my absolute top priority, no contest. I'll always find a way to make time for them, even if I have to move heaven and earth to do it.

I always make sure to let a team know whether I'm just sharing my opinion or whether it's a final decision, but please don't ever feel like you have to take my word as gospel – especially when you're the real expert!

We're all about work-life balance on this team. I know it can be easy to get caught up in the design hustle, but taking care of ourselves and our personal lives is just as important. Let's make sure we're supporting each other in finding balance between work and play.

I'm a big believer that managers should be taking an active role in helping their team grow and succeed. For me, that means really getting to know everyone's passions and strengths, figuring out where they can make the biggest impact, and making sure their career goals are always top of mind.
